The Tourist Board of the Municipality of Vela Luka invites you to a gastronomic walk called "Small tour of great flavors", through which visitors can get to know the authentic flavors and traditions of Vela Luka.
During the tour, local family farms are visited with a special emphasis on top-quality olive oil from Vela Luka. Guests will have the opportunity to taste different types of olive oil and products that contain this "liquid gold" in their base, known for its beneficial properties, golden color and rich flavor.
The tour includes a tasting of indigenous products of Vela Luka - from top-quality olive oil and homemade liqueurs to jams made from wild fruits, olive leaf tea and the inevitable lumblija. Small in number of steps, but big in experiences - this tour combines nature, tradition and authentic flavors of Vela Luka.
We plan to hold gastronomic tours every 10th of the month until the end of the summer, giving visitors the opportunity to get to know the authentic flavors of Vela Luka through a unique gastronomic experience, and the first one is scheduled for next Wednesday, June 10th.
