After a slight decrease in the number of overnight stays for the first six months in the Vela Luka Municipality, an increase of 2% was achieved in arrivals and overnight stays in July. In household accommodation (commercial accommodation), a total of 3,818 arrivals and 30,857 overnight stays were achieved in July, which is an increase of 3% in total.
Hotels achieved 2,971 arrivals (4% more) and 16,925 overnight stays (3% more). Non-commercial accommodation achieved 16% more arrivals and 1% more overnight stays, while other catering facilities and the Mindel camp achieved about 15% worse results.
Of the larger hotel facilities, the Adria and Posejdon hotels achieved positive results.
The total data for the seven months of 2026 are identical to 2025 with 15,028 arrivals and 93,023 overnight stays. Hotel facilities had a total increase of 2%, and household accommodation 1%.
Considering the data by country, by far the highest numbers of arrivals and overnight stays were achieved by Slovenians with 25,060 overnight stays or 13% more and Croatians with 21,556 or 8% more. In third place are Germans with 8,422 overnight stays or 10% less compared to the previous year.
