DUBROVNIK. Bakić on the tourist miracle in the south: ‘This could be the most fascinating project in the Mediterranean. You can see it from the plane!’

According to the plans presented earlier, the Three Sisters should include seven luxury hotels, about 400 hotel accommodation units, approximately 500 apartments and as many as 220 luxury villas.

One of the largest tourist projects on the Adriatic, the luxury complex Tri sestrice, worth around 920 million euros, has once again attracted public attention, this time thanks to aerial photographs that best show the scale of what is being prepared between Neum and Dubrovnik.

Croatian entrepreneur and investor Nenad Bakić published photographs of the location taken from an airplane, stating that the project, depending on the flight route to Dubrovnik, can already be clearly seen from the air.

Bakić believes that the Three Sisters could become one of the most fascinating real estate projects not only in Croatia, but also much wider, in the Mediterranean. He added that the project, even in the case of the realization of a less ambitious variant, could have historical importance.

Bakić drew special attention to what can currently be seen on the ground – an extremely ambitious access infrastructure. The wide roads that intersect the large area of the future complex are especially evident when the location is viewed from the air.

According to him, their size is not accidental, but rather part of a broader vision of how the entire complex should look when completed.

“When you fly to Dubrovnik, depending on the route you can see Vicenco Blagaić’s Three Sisters project. Literally: you can see it from the plane!

Vicenzo is a ‘positive lunatic’, and this could be the most fascinating real estate project in Croatia and much wider (the Mediterranean).

His vision for the entire business structure is quite large, and even if he chooses Plan B (i.e. does not go to the business max), the project will be of historical importance.

You can already see part of that vision in the very ambitious roads that are ‘seen from the plane’ – of course, it will not all be ‘concreted’, but the wide roads/roads have a reason in the uncompromising vision of how it should ultimately look.

Let’s wish Vicenco luck in this endeavor as much as possible (I think success is already quite clear, it’s just a matter of scale), and let’s ask ourselves why in Croatia we don’t have brands or anything close to what they are developing in Montenegro (One and Only and beyond) and let’s hope that we will finally have it here…”, he wrote Bakic.

According to  BiznisInfo.ba, these photos further confirm what their team recorded earlier this summer when they visited the Tri sestrice location.

At that time, they filmed the work on the access infrastructure and the large area where a completely new luxury tourist complex should emerge in the coming years. After almost two decades of preparation, the project is gradually taking on its first concrete outlines.

An investment worth around 920 million euros

This is a project that is being developed in the Dubrovnik Littoral region of Croatia. The investor is Split-based entrepreneur Vicenco Blagaić, who has been working on its implementation for almost two decades.

During that period, land was purchased and complex property relations were resolved in order to create the conditions for one of the largest private tourism investments in this part of the Adriatic.

According to previously published investment documentation, the total value of the project is estimated at around 920 million euros, while the entire complex should occupy approximately 260 hectares. The plans show that this is not a classic hotel complex, but practically the creation of a completely new luxury tourist destination.

According to the plans presented earlier, the Three Sisters should include seven luxury hotels, about 400 hotel accommodation units, approximately 500 apartments and as many as 220 luxury villas.

A large golf course with 27 holes is planned, which would occupy more than 200 hectares, as well as a marina for yachts, a beach club, restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, museums and numerous sports and recreational facilities. The first phase of the project should include two hotels, luxury villas, apartments and residences, a beach club and a small marina.

If the entire project is realized according to the imagined concept, the Three Sisters could become one of the largest luxury tourist complexes in this part of the Mediterranean.

The project also attracted famous names
The three sisters have been attracting more and more attention in recent months because of the famous names associated with this location.

The location was recently visited by the captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team, Edin Džeko, together with investor Vicenco Blagaić, while it was previously announced that Croatian footballer Luka Modrić is also among the owners of land within the project area.

However, what can now be seen on the site itself is much more important than the famous names. After years during which the Three Sisters were mainly discussed through plans, documentation and visuals of the future complex, the built access infrastructure shows how much space this investment covers.

The latest aerial photographs now provide perhaps the best idea of the scale of the project which, if implemented according to plan, could completely change the appearance of this part of the Adriatic coast between Neum and Dubrovnik, writes  BiznisInfo.baMore
